[Minor 'Way of Kings' Spoilers in Description]
Beginning work on a personal visual development project, based on Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive book series. Sketching out an interpretation of Kaladin, one of the protagonists, as his character develops in the book Way of Kings.
His transition as a ranked soldier, to his betrayal and enslavement, and finally his condemnation as a bridgeman on Bridge Four [This is where his story begins].
Trying to work out how I want to render these images, how far to push the stylization, etc. Expect to see some changes as I go along, feedback welcome! :D Hope you enjoy, especially if you know the books.
